Nice WORK Marijn! I have to check this set out

Thank you for early review! Mine is still in transit ($15 price tag was irresistible) so it's nice to see early impressions.
If you'd have to pick between the two, would you pick R2 or R3? Does R2 worth double price in comparison?

@Ealuri Seems to me the R2 has a little more polish overall, The R2 works well one good for ppl with smaller ears. But they kept the driver from the R2 and went a little cheaper feeling shell but, to say worth dubble the price not in my eyes sound wise. Cuz you can pefectly EQ the R2 to a R3 and they will similar the tuning they have done on the R2 is a little more mellow and laid back, Some ppl will not the bass shelf on the R3 and the ear gain it has. So pick your poison wisly in my eyes. they both have their good and lesser sites. All depens really on your music genre you listen to. Their both good in there own way can't really pick one above the other. But the R3 is deffenly a little gem in the entree/budget market

Great review of such a new iem. How does the size of the R3 compare to the R2? I hear the R2 sits flush in the ear like a proper stage iem.

@att0m the R3 has a bigger shell fitted me better then the R2's shell, the R2 shell works really well for people with smaller ears but i had a little fit issue since the nozzle is quite on the short side. Everybody's ears are diffent ofc. but once i stepped up the since of me tips i got a proper seal

Перше що впадає у вічі це те що кабель уже під'єднано до навушників, тільки без амб. Кабель простіший з Г штекером. По звуку, більш V подібний ніж R2 вокал трохи гірше звучить, але не критично, насадки мені підійшли найменші чорні, з білими твердішими був великий дискомфорт. Добре звучать з 3.5 (Meizu x8) дірки телефона, на Zishan звук більш різкий чомусь. R3 мабуть мають менший опір бо звучать голосніше. Звук досить драйвовий, ВЧ достатьо, хоча з плейера здавалося малувато спочатку. Хоча ще треба тестувати, оскільки по пам'яті згадую, що r2 слухала альбом за альбомом, а тут після кожної пісні шукаєш на що б ще переключитись, щоб послухати якийсь знайомий трек. Заміна кабеля почерк r2 не змінила відчутно, детальний, іноді різкуватий

@Olenka I wish you had typed in english so can follow your train of thought better and understand you also in a better way. I have to say bass in general always take a bit more space in the soundstage where other details might get lost. Is this a resolution beast no but it a good comperimise between bass and trying to keep the sound stage open. I feel you on that regards a carefull select of tips and cable and source is needed. i try to use them as intended like waht you get out of the box. Then i start the change first the tips then the cable and the source. i hope this a answer on your questions that you have even do some might have ben lost in translation.
