Herandu, I compared back and forth between the Beresford and the EMU 0404, there is a definate difference in soundstage. It's not a matter of detail or not, but a matter of distance, and this is something I can feel when listening to specific songs. I am still burning in the DAC.

I think it's a shame... I really like soundstage and was actually what I was looking for. I have mailed Stanley about this issue - if it doesn't resolve itself then I will sadly return the DAC.
