    Amp for DT770 250 ohm?

I bought one of these while the big sale was going on and was wondering about how much of a difference an amp would make. I've been running them off my onboard sound (Realtek ALC888) which can run them at decent volumes just fine. The problem is that there is almost no bass and it sounds very...

Headphone Sale on Amazon- Beyerdynamic DT770 for $126

I don't think these are going to work for me, a decent amp would cost about the same amount as these headphones. I'll probably go back to my original plan of getting some SR80s. I might sell these now that the price went back up.

Headphone Sale on Amazon- Beyerdynamic DT770 for $126

I just got them and I'm trying them out. Driving these without an amp has not been a problem at all, I just turned up the volume a couple of notches using my onboard (Realtek ALC888) sound. I can also run these off my sansa clip even though the volume is at 80%. These are not bass monsters...

    dt-770's on amazon for cheap

I'm really thinking about buying one. Do they absolutely require an amp to be usable? I'd be running them off the onboard (ALC888) sound on my computer and maybe my sansa clip.

    hd212 and hd212 pro....difference?

I've never heard of a HD212 non pro and I don't see one on Sennheiser's website. You might have just seen a mislabeled HD212pro.

    Music with stomping/militaristic beat?

"Rooster" by Alice in Chains, it's actually about the Vietnam war and it has a very military feel to it IMO. "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum" by A Perfect Circle has kind of a marching rhythm to it.

camera enthusiasts... offer your 2 cents!

Personally I have a Pentax K110D DSLR and a Canon A530. The Canon A series is almost always one of the best deals on the market from what I've read online and my own experience. My Pentax might not be new or top of the line but it's a definite step above any current digicam IMO. Quote...

For me the music comes before anything else. I actually started getting into higher end headphones to SAVE money, I know it sounds pretty ironic here but it worked. I used to just buy the cheapo $10-$15 Sony headphones. I didn't really think there were other options and I didn't think there...

    Closed Headphones Under $60

Some say the bass is too much, others think it's great. It's definitely noticeable though. If you're looking for a more neutral headphone then the HD212 probably isn't for you. These cans fit me fine, I have small ears which fit completely inside the cup. If you have larger ears then part of...

I can vouch for the HD202, those were my first pair of decent headphones and i was not disappointed. They lasted for 2 years under heavy use. The HD212pro (my current phones) boosts the bass response and has a removable cable.
