Chord Mojo issue solutions thread.
LOL, because here too we have the possibility for confusion, I should have probably specified the lighter ice blue as opposed to the deep cobalt blue that you see higher on the volume scale.- ok3wire

Chord Mojo issue solutions thread.
Umm, okay, so this is a little embarrassing, but I’m going to come clean. As I mentioned before, for as long as I’ve owned the Mojo (~ 2 years), my volume level was always within a few clicks up or down of the double red ball setting. The key to this story is that for reasons that still aren’t...- ok3wire

Tool - Fear Inoculum
Thanks, guys. Found the album and the discount code on HDtracks and was out the door for $15. I have one full listen under my belt and am not disappointed. -

Since I don't feel like paying $144 for the CD on Amazon, is it possible to download a hi resolution version of the album? -
New high-end headphone amps: Vorzuge VorzAMPpure and VorzAMPduo impressions and review thread
Shigzeo, thanks for your many contributions to this thread. Have you, or anyone else, ever had the opportunity to compare the Pure II+ with the iQube V1? I’ve been using the original iQube since around 2007 or so and even to this day find that it adds texture and detail to just about any...- ok3wire

Campfire - Solaris
Just out of curiosity, have you ever considered trying the iFi iEMatch? Having owned the Solaris for a couple of weeks now, I’m continuing to learn more about them while dialing in my use of various source components. As mentioned previously, my standard set up had been iPhone XS Max > Apple...- ok3wire

Cyberlabs Algorhythm Solo -R connectivity question
Should it be possible to use the Algorhythym Solo -R with an iPhone XS Max? I tried connecting the iPhone to an Apple camera connector adapter to the Solo to an iQube amp, but the iPhone doesn’t seem to be recognizing the Solo. Music just plays out of the phone’s speakers.- ok3wire

Campfire - Solaris
1) Tl;dr version: If your considering the Solaris as a major upgrade to your current mid-tier or lower IEM, go for it - 95% of your quality recordings are going to sound amazing. Just understand that it may take a minute or three for your brain to begin fully appreciating them. 2) Bloated...- ok3wire

One more data point - I was able to substitute another family member’s iPhone for my own and the results were the same. That would seem to rule out both the iPhone and the Apple camera connector kit as the culprit.- ok3wire

Another strange thing I’m just now noticing is that, once you get beyond the violet color, the center ball doesn’t really seem to be changing color at all itself, as much as just reflecting some of the color of the ball right next to it. :triportsad:- ok3wire

Chord Mojo issue solutions thread.
Thanks for the response. I’ve never known the Mojo to be sensitive to the volume level on the iPhone - which would seem to make sense given my understanding that the phone is only delivering the digital coding to the Mojo. But that being said, out of pure desperation, I did vary the volume...- ok3wire

Chord Mojo issue solutions thread.
I’m suddenly having a strange volume issue with my Mojo. My standard mobile rig for the last two years has been an iPhone (now XS Max) with camera connector kit hooked up to the Mojo powering a pair of Shure SE530 IEMs. For 99% of my listening, the volume balls never have to go much beyond...- ok3wire

Has anyone tried using the DAC portion of the Chord Mojo to feed this amp? I’m about halfway through this thread and don’t recall having seen any detailed mentions of it thus far. Portable amp to replace iQube V1?
Thanks for the tip, buke. I did notice that Moon still carries Qables products, but am a little concerned that attempts to connect with the Qables website now result in an error. Nevertheless, it certainly couldn’t hurt to give Moon a call and see if they still have any accessories in stock...- ok3wire

Portable amp to replace iQube V1?
So my current listening set up starts with either an iPhone or MacBook playing primarily lossless CD rips along with some higher res files featuring mostly classic rock, new wave and metal groups. This is fed to the DAC section of a Chord Mojo, then to the Qables iQube V1 and finally to a pair...- ok3wire
