Should it be possible to use the Algorhythym Solo -R with an iPhone XS Max? I tried connecting the iPhone to an Apple camera connector adapter to the Solo to an iQube amp, but the iPhone doesn’t seem to be recognizing the Solo. Music just plays out of the phone’s speakers.

1) Tl;dr version: If your considering the Solaris as a major upgrade to your current mid-tier or lower IEM, go for it - 95% of your quality recordings are going to sound amazing. Just understand that it may take a minute or three for your brain to begin fully appreciating them. 2) Bloated...

One more data point - I was able to substitute another family member’s iPhone for my own and the results were the same. That would seem to rule out both the iPhone and the Apple camera connector kit as the culprit.

Another strange thing I’m just now noticing is that, once you get beyond the violet color, the center ball doesn’t really seem to be changing color at all itself, as much as just reflecting some of the color of the ball right next to it. :triportsad:
