My roommate and I both purchased ER-6i. He used to listen to some $50 craptacular Sony Earbuds. He thinks that the ER-6i are lacking in bass. I listen to Grado SR-80 and I think that the Ety bass is just fine. Boytbpc

I got my ety's yesterday. I bought them for a couple of resons but the main reason is because I work at a Taiwanese high school that blasts crappy pop rock over a bull horn postioned right outside my classroom. These things are going to save my sanity.

I've been using my Grados with the bowls for a while now. I tried everyother pad just about to determine which I liked better, and in the end the bowl is the best for me. I would recommend just giving them time to 'break in'. Just my 2 cents though. Boytbpc

Its really good to see someone else struggeling through the same things I did. I just finished my first CMoy last week. I'm ordering all new parts to make a bigger better cmoy next. [edit] BTW, I used a dremmel to cut the holes in my tin. Worked perfectly.

All I've got are my portapros and my SR-80's (which I love). I'm trying to build a C-Moy, but since I really don't need it yet I haven't got around to it. A new pair of phones would place me in the 'hooked for life' field.
