To each his own. I noticed the reduced treble as well which I liked. And the bass was better in my opinion. No as 'wall of sound' just a little more open.

Sony made the stickers to easily pulled off. Just peel em off. I just did. It leaves absolutely no resedue! THERE MADE TO COME OFF!

Well I orderd my beyer pads last week on wensday so I they'll probably get here before wensday.

Well I just got em. GREAT! I love the sound these were a great buy. They block out sound and keep sound in. There also really really easily powerd. Good sound too. But the highs and treble are very detailed and *cough*bright *cough*. But thats okay. Maybe I shouldnt post impressions 5 minutes...

While were on the subject of the V6s. Do the beyer pads make that much of a difference? And If so what kind? Oh and what is the frequency response?

Well when my sennhiesers broke I needed to get a new pair of "hold over" phones until I could get my Sony V6s. So I went to the Dollar General™ store and looked for some good phones. The Coby® CV-H88 headphones seemed to be my best bet. And at only 6 bucks! Needless to say my expectations were...

I use EAC and lame just as you do. But I am using the latest versions of both.
