Hi. I actually have the Sennheiser HD 530 II and I find them quite the opposite: not very extended treble and more boomy bass than my DT 800's. I don't know how realted are the drivers of 530 and 540 though.

The GIMP. The Windblows version is slow and somewhat buggy, but it works and feels OK. The linux version is without a flaw (when compiled from source of course).
