Home theater speakers for someone that likes the sound signature of the AKG-K701/702s
I looking to get some home theater speakers now that I have myself a real receiver (Denon AVR-1911). I'm only looking to pick up the front three right now so the front left and right speakers and the center. I've read recommendations for so many different speakers across a myriad of...- EnderX

Has anyone bought real cans from Electronics Expo?
I bought a $1000+ Panasonic Plasma HDTV from them. Directly from their website. No problems at all, wonderful customer service experience. I don't think you have anything to worry about.- EnderX

Lets take a little vote. All those in favor of me getting an amp chime in. All those in favor of me sticking with my H/K 3490 stereo receiver as my amp and getting some Sennheiser HD 650s. Go.- EnderX

Recommendations on $400 or less amp (First Amp!)
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. There are so many suggestions. I think the only one that was mentioned more than once was the M^3. How much is one pre-assembled by MisterX? Also I really haven't heard much from the tube amp side of things. No real suggestions for a starter tube amp?- EnderX

I just got quoted on a price for the audio-gd fun and it came to $438 which isn't bad. How many people think I should pull the trigger on that or do we have some other selections?- EnderX

I suppose so and it would also get used with my vaio laptop and my PC. I could always pick up an inexpensive dac too right? The KICAS Caliente sound like it fits the bill in the SS department, what about a tube amp?- EnderX

Recommendations on $400 or less amp (First Amp!)
I went to the website for the Audio-GD Fun and came back supremely confused. I don't understand how much a complete setup would be. I see all the extra parts and prices but nothing for the main like motherboard component or anything like that so I have no idea of even a price range.- EnderX

Where to buy/demo headphones in Cleveland, OH?
I have recently moved to Cleveland, OH for law school and have no idea where to look for Hi-Fi gear. The places that have looked promising ended up being custom home theater installation businesses that really didn't "sell" things. I mean that had plenty of audio gear that would make you drool...- EnderX

Recommendation for headphones as a gift for a friend
Though I've never heard any personally, there is a thread discussing how great the Yamaha RH5MA headphones are. They are closed and seem to have plenty of bass and from whats being said they also seem to be well balanced overall. Great prices on them too, check ebay! Thread Link-->...- EnderX

Recommendation for headphones as a gift for a friend
Just so you know the AD700s have really no bass presence so I don't think they would a be a good choice for an individual who listens to rap. Depending on whether or not you think your friend would like either tight bass or boomy bass you have some choices. There's the Audio-Technica ATH-M50...- EnderX

Help I need a HFI-780 1/4 adapter!
Anyone know where I can get a hold of an Ultrasone HFI-780 1/4 adapter. Its threaded and screws on some I'm pretty sure a third-party adapter won't do. I've looked around but I cannot locate a store selling them.- EnderX
