Just got my PXC450
The problems with my PXC450 have gotten worse. In addition to the OP, which has been updated, the left driver is making a constant drone at a single tone when the circuit is turned on. This happens regardless if the headphone is connected to a source or has any input. I sent it in for repair to...- GSh

About to load my iPod: 320AAC or 256AAC with VBR
i didnt realize going lossless would kill 50% of the battery life right there. i just got a new 80gb ipod as well and planned on putting just WAV on there. i would love flac support but, eh, you know...i would never use an ipod in the first place but since i got it for free. why bother...- GSh

New Sennheiser PXC450, May 07
doesnt the sennheiser website itself say the MSRP is $450? even then, street prices should be lower, maybe $420.... either way im very excited to get these. i dont know what the point of volume or talk-through button (cant you just turn them off?) is, or if they still function as headphones...- GSh

PXC300, QC3, MDR NC60, PXC350/450 ftw?
Hey guys, trust me this is my last resort. I have searched and read every thread, review at amazon, review at newegg in my search for noise-canceling headphones. I travel a lot for work and in-air entertainment sucks. I just got the new iPod video 80gb yesterday, so now Im looking for some...- GSh

JVC DX 1000
Tried searching on the forum but I don't think anyone has talked about these. Just saw them over at audiocubes (http://www.audiocubes.com/product/JV...eadphones.html) for a whopping $1,229.00USD. They sure look nice though. Claimed freq. response is 4hz - 30,000Hz, which is hard to believe...- GSh

Koss KSC-75 - Holy Crap!
The KSC75 is the single most rewarding investment in headphones I have ever made. Period. My DT770Pros and A900s are sitting in the closest as I type this.- GSh

KSC75 better than SR-60???
I was shockingly surprised by the KSC75 as well. All of a sudden, my $200+ don't seem appealing to me anymore (A900, DT770) and I haven't used any other headphones ever since I got the KSC75. I would kill to find a set of closed headphones that sound like the KSC75. For 20 bucks, it's ridiculous...- GSh

Has anyone tried these?
Has anyone tried the recabled DT880's from headphone.com? I tried doing a search, but seems like no one has....or even for that matter, have Cardas recabled 880s. I might be buying these (I like the Beyer house sound) and am wondering if its worth the extra $$$ for the recable.- GSh

Overwhelmed and underwhelmed by headphones...?
Over expectations: DT 770 (BOOOM...wow lol) KSC75 (reason stated for under expectations) Even: Self-made Cmoy...low noise and it works! Good enough for me Under expectations: A900 (after hearing the KSC75 and something that costs 10 times less sounding better, but for closed can...- GSh

A900 vs KSC75
I was alarmed by what I heard. Is it me, or do vocal songs (and in general) sound better on the KSC75 than the A900??? The A900 sounds more distant and synthetic. I'm very confused...same source same song on both.... Anyone else?- GSh

Happy ATH 900 Owner
LOL, glad you like the A900. I love mine as well. In fact, I am complacent with headphones right now because of them. I also own the DT700 and think you made the right choice. The A900s are definitely a casual listener headphone, not specialized for games or movies. To me they sound more neutral...- GSh
