The screw that holds the headband to the hinge connecting the cups has broken in some mysterious way, had the headphones for ~ 10 years though so I guess it's to expected. I'm open to upgrading if I must but honestly I'm pretty happy with my cans if anyone can recommend a place to get them repaired?

I'm still really enjoying my D5000's but the headband is almost completely disintegrated, has anyone found a solution/replacement for this?

That's some hefty gear, might be worth waiting for their flagship DAC, supposed to be a game changer.   as for your questions I'll answer and if i'm wrong someone can slap me   Yes, you are supposed to be able to just snap it in if you decide you want USB, same goes for the upgrades.  ...
