Hard to know without knowing the dBSPL for sure. If we asume 90, as in the other graph, it is probably not an issue in the slightest.

Yes. This issue is 100% there. Not nearly as bad as with EW200, though; where the flex is so loud that you may think you are severely damaging the drivers and maybe your ears.

They are at 138€ over AliExpress right now. Practically a steal, given the quality of the set.

"Right" is kind of subjective. Many people seem enamored of the Mega5est. This seems to be going for something similar. I find the Mega5est interesting, but importing it to Europe seems to be not that easy without being murdered by customs.

That seems to be the case. More bass, less treble. Normalized to A4, Supermix 4 looks like a tilted EA1000.

Due to individual variability, it is hard to think that there is a perfect IEM for everyone. But given how many different IEMs there are out there, there must be a "perfect" one for every of us. That is what we are trying to find when we buy a new set again, again and again.

The reason for V-shaped signatures is that they are based on a mixture of what a room response would look like, plus a bass boost due to not being able to feel the vibrations in the body, plus some pinna gain, plus personal preference. Obviously, it doesn't work for everyone. But seem to work...

I know. But here you have the difference in tuning and the difference in timbre due to the driver. I expressed myself pretty poorly. In any case, after trying dozens of IEMs, I do believe that it is harder for a single DD to have the bass and treble extension that a single planar can achieve.

Well, it compares them to say that they are opposites. Which is to be expected. Planars have a sound very different to dynamic drivers. "There’s a certain difference between MP145 and 3T in sound, to the point where the frequency response graph looks inverted".

Have you tried the MP145? They are planars and I really love them. They are very big, mind you. But I'm on the larger side, so it is not a problem for me. They sound really big, detailed, crisp, they have really good bass, the THD is ridiculously low, much lower than what any headphone not...

IEMs have improved so much and are so comfortable that I almost never reach for my many headphones anymore.

I don't know whether I'm a basshead or not. My favorite IEM is the MP145. I just feel that almost every time CCA/KZ releases a new IEM every review out there is about how they finally got it right, always forgetting that they already said that about the previous IEM, and implying that said...

Uff, the GK300 looks extremely bright. I was waiting for it, but after watching the graph I don't think I'm interested any longer.

As soon as I saw it, I knew that I had reviewed something very similar before. It is an EW200 with less bass (and the EW200 is already quite bright), four times the cost and none of the beautiful design Simgot has. Really baffling the roll-off in the sub-bass with 2 DDs.
