Just a qualifier to this - it doesn't work well with cellphone, which does not provide enough power to the DDC. For that you would need the U2 Pro, which has its own power supply. The U2 is good though for PC and laptop, and some tablets.

Thanks yes it's not to reduce noise on phone but to provide a stable connection via optical from Douk to Mojo 2. With USB from phone I get white noise attacks but not via optical or coax. Yep UAPP for Android wired output is a must. For BT from phone I use Mark Levinson 5909 which are OK...

Thanks Sajunky for replying and for the suggestions. My main reason for getting U2 over the Pro is that I wanted to be able to use on the go, connecting my android phone to my Mojo 2. My fault for not researching fully before buying. I will probably return it for now, and maybe buy U2 Pro...

Thanks to all who replied about battery life. Today I charged it fully to magenta, and it's still blue 2 hours in, so - as promised - I retract my earlier implication of dubious longevity. Will do a full test at some point from magenta to lights out, but for now it's looking good.

I just received my Mojo 2 and love it's sound and functionality. However I too am struggling to understand the battery indicators. Today (3rd use) I charged the battery to blue, and then used it undocked for 2.5 hours. In that time it dropped to yellow, indicating that it has dipped beneath 40%...

OK thanks that's good to know. I thought I'd read other posters in this thread saying that they found these cans to be underpowered when running from the laptop with USB-C. Is that not your experience then? Sounds like my Mojo 2 may have been overkill, though a nice toy to have anyway I guess.

Thanks XTF, yes will try that too. The only disadvantage with that (if I've understood correctly) is it will engage the battery on the 5909s, whereas if I use it fully passive it will prolong the lifetime of the battery. Though of course in my case this means engaging the battery of the Mojo 2...

You're the man for testing and replying, thank you - it helps a lot. Since I have a headphones socket in my laptop, and several in this thread have praised the 5909's passive capabilities, I think I'll gamble on the bluetooth. Backup will be wired with my new Mojo 2. Will post bluetooth results...
