Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4
Thanks for Techincs reccomendation. Will keep an eye on those. One other thing I would also like to comment. I own MTW3 and I bought them in September ‘23. I find them more refined and somehow in a piece and musically satisying sounded more than other BT earbuds I tried, but I wasn’t totally...- Ozzy B

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4
I must say that I ended up selling my MTW4. At first, they seemed to be an upgrade regarding more bass definition, altough still a bit congested sounded like MTW3. When I listened to them more and more, I find guitars peaks to be a bit to edgy and bass is thunderous and much louder than other...- Ozzy B

I am not sure if good app even exist until now. I talk about headphone companies apps. Only 3rd party player apps and there are few very good ones like Vox or Onkyo for example, but if you want to change sound to your liking, you are locked because default tuning which comes from physical and...- Ozzy B

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4
Hm, whatever I do regarding bass in Sound personalization, bass is way too prominent and out of balance loud and hard hitting. It’s pitches provide some distraction. I set bass to lowest setting at each step where possible, but not much luck. It simply force you to follow bass and everything...- Ozzy B

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4
I took the plunge and bought them today. Out of the box I find MTW 4 to be better than MTW 3 which I also own. Midbass is more firm and together with mids gives more defined sound. Separation is also a bit better than on previous model which makes a newer one more exciting listen. From what I...- Ozzy B

I would appreciate if someone can comment did MTW 4 have shrill heights. I just turn back Sony XM5 as the are way edgy and bright. I own MTW 3, but I found them to be soft and heights are relatively shy so hopefully MTW 4 are just about right, but some reviews says they can be shrill, so not...- Ozzy B

Today evening there is definitive improvement. They need some time to come on song. I start to like them.- Ozzy B

Sony WF-1000XM5
You are right regarding older models sound. Reviews of new model says that it’s sound wasn’t rich anymore. It could be that what I hear. Way too shallow and tight harmonically. Exciting it is I can confirm for sure, but shrill to the max.- Ozzy B

Most probably. Hopefully they will sound more relaxed and textured after some time, but somehow I don’t believe.- Ozzy B

Sony WF-1000XM5
Thanks. Tried that with EQ, but no luck. It is their core sound. Everything sounds forced, edgy and way too tight… and I like tight and grippy sound, but this is way too much. Do they mellow out a bit after some hours?- Ozzy B

Thanks TooFrank. Further listening shows me that I don’t like so tight and brittle character they have. I prefer more layered and relaxed, but yet dynamic presentation. I tried silicone tips, but cannot remember who made them and that edge is still there.- Ozzy B

Sony WF-1000XM5
Hi, bought WF-1000XM5 today in order to replace Senn MTW3 because I would like more livelier sound, but no matter how I tune WF-1000XM5 sound in their app, they sound pretty edgy to me. Is there some chance that they would after some hours start to sound more relaxed? Thanks- Ozzy B

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
Yes I realize now the same when you commented. It was strange to me from the first listen, but as everything was totally new to me regarding IE600 fit, I noticed only that they don’t stay tight in my ears, but now looking back, yes, I also think they are pretty shallow.- Ozzy B

I am sorry. I thought you are asking another member. Original medium foam gives me best fit of all original sizes incl. silicone, altough IE600 still not stand still while I walk and slightly turn my head on side.- Ozzy B

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
Maybe I didn’t understand well what you said, but believing in burn in or not is a different thing than knowing how some headphones sound. Regarding burn in, I can honestly say that it is a fact and my belief is simply from practical point of view and not my personal opinion build up on my...- Ozzy B

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
This is very interesting what you said Simon. I believe in burn in and witnessed it many times. My Grado RS1 had ear bleeding highs during burn in, but after some 500 hours they completely changed and mellowed. I mentioned Senn TWS3 and they changed pretty much after few hundred hours. I...- Ozzy B

Many thanks Simon. Much appreciated, but I am not from UK and as you can see, English is not my first language😃. I would buy those directly if I get IE900. Thank you for pointing me in right direction regarding tips.- Ozzy B

I agree with everything you said. I pressed them in just slightly with fingers and I am pretty sure that I heard mostly everything what they can offer, but yes and definitely, I wasn’t able to walk with them and my hands down. They reminds me with their sound character like Naim CDX2, NDX and...- Ozzy B

I am sure that during second listen they sit properly in my ears and that was the best fit of all original tips I tried from foam to silicone, but it was impossible to walk with them and in the same time that they don’t start to slowly slipping from my ear. I put much patience and time into...- Ozzy B

Thank you SilicaGel. I am surprised as TWS3 already have very warm and rounded character. I find them pretty boring listen. Cannot imagine the newer model is even more on that side.- Ozzy B

I was not in the IEM’s for a long time, but listened to Grado RS1 for the last 15 years or so. As for let’s say IEM’s, if I can call it that way, I own Senn True Wireless 3, but I find them to spund bloated and sluggish if that describes some relation to my impression with IE600.- Ozzy B
