Going for the expensive younger company 64Audio Trio rather than the Sony IER Z1R which is a Pioneer company with the developed more sophisticated sci fi sound of headphones.

You should keep with mainstream best like Sony. Start with something cheap, then gradually buy the more expensive ones. You'll think the cheap ones are good, then you'll think the more expensive ones are better. There's no need to waste money.

I called these okay-good. That was wrong. They're okay-sublime.

I use 32gb micro sd cards. With mp3's the Plenue J played it all which was about 2600 tracks. Probably the same for Plenue D. I've only played WAV files on the Plenue D which means around 500 tracks.

The Cowon Plenue D sounds good and smaller than a minidisc player. I'm guessing it has a Wolfson Dac for it's colourful sound. The Jeteffects allows you to adjust the sound to your liking.

The IE600 is better than the AKG. It is on par with the acceptable sound strength of the AKG-3003. The 5005 sounds weak but it is a refined sound. Seems to be less significant than AKG-3003 and therfore IE600.

I would say the Westone is better. It's a Reference sound headphone that meatier and more satisfying. The AKG is only okay-good. The Westone is Ultra-good. Don't know if my V1 is different to the V3....
