it is nice that they don't overcharge, i agree. just surprised to hear how much it is.

that reminds me of currawong's review of the susvara, he said something like a lot of people in china will usually just think the product is bad if the price is low, so they have to price susvara at a very high amount.

$300 replacement... it makes me think about how much it costs them to produce a susvara.

elrog does have some authorised dealers so i'm curious how it's handled if you just directly ordered from an authorised dealers site.

so what you're saying is you could buy tubes from elrog for your wa33, and if it dies within a year you have no chance of a warranty claim? i don't think this rule is stated on the elrog site so i'd be interested to know more about how this works.

i don't think that it's true anymore that you can send in such an old headphone for repair ever since the company got sold. someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

good luck with this whole situation, it's terrible to think they've probably did this to people who didn't realise in the past.

@Leto Dal did they not give you the option of a full refund under any circumstances? sorry if this was mentioned already and i missed it.

300b tubes are overpriced just for being 300b to begin with.

if we look on the envy thread we can see that the post @Exekuhtor made showing his tubes, i would say they're not closely matched in comparison. will it make a difference? not sure, but personally i would not accept that. anyone paying that much for tubes deserves better.

@Leto Dal i think you should send them back and get a new pair from somewhere else.
