Headphone & Amp Impedance Questions? Find the answers here!
I heard the amp should match the amp. For instance a 300ohn driver should be paired with OLT amps for best sound. and a low impedance driver like 30 or 63 or what ever should be fine with almost any amp.- HBryant

JM Audio Editions XTC Headphones
The shipping is fixed for people who live outside USA. I think its like $55 or maybe $58. I have been interested in the XTC too and people here keep referring to their XTC- is it XTC or XTC^1.5 or XTC^2 that people here are referring too? When I emailed John Massaria he said he could tune them...- HBryant

back-open vs back-closed
I had all the good Beyerdynamic the 1990 and 990 but my fav were DT150 300ohm and even owned a DT100- but the headband dug into the center of my head and really was unbearable same with Neuman headphone the NDH30 that headband is like a rock digging in. I really do miss the 150s except for pain...- HBryant

its hard to believe these reviews and how many reviews I read so far about these XTC. I'm trying to get rid of my ZMF VC because they are too warm and mush and no matter the amp I cant get detail out of em. seems like everyone likes these XTC- so I am skeptical. I read about these and how no one...- HBryant

how can you compare the sound to the say ZMF VC or similar- I find I love the wood and style but weight is too much - are these heavy. I also had the Audeze LCD2 and XC and those were neck breaking for me- so weight is big issue. I don't like to use eq but I used it with Audeze because they...- HBryant

so curious- what ear pads come with these? how much are the extra ear pads - I know ZMF charges a few extra bucks like $50-90 per set- something like that and my VC is too heavy- HBryant

I tried the 660s and the 660S2 and both are ok if I didn't already own the 6xx and 600s but for me I like a 50 mm driver and the 40 or what ever is in that 42 mm driver doesn't impress - it really does sound smaller in every way- HBryant
