Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
I completely agree! Why spend 5000 on a headphone like the Susvara when you can get like 80 percent of what it offers on the he 1000 stealth’s- gordon0986

Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
It’s a good paring but I prefer using the Hifiman EF 400 with them. Sounds even more amazing paired with a stax amp!- gordon0986

Introducing the HIFIMAN EF400 Balanced Desktop DAC/Amplifier!
I love the sound of this thing! It makes my Arya stealth and HE 10000 stealth sound incredible. Then again I use it as a stack with a stax electrostatic amp so could be why lol- gordon0986

Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
I h i honestly would go with the hifiman EF 400! It drives my Arya stealth and 1000 stealth perfectly. And hifiman always keeps dropping the price on it. And it’s a dac and amp so don’t have to worry about a combo and also has USB if you wanna drive it to your laptop our even tablet- gordon0986

Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
I own the HE 1000 stealth and best headphone purchase I ever made! To me they just do everything right. Only the treble can be a little bright but once you break them in it gets better overtime- gordon0986

Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
Might be a weird combo! Might be because I own a energizer and electrostatic headphones as well! But I pair my HE 1000 stealth with my EF 400 and Stax SRM D50. And I just love the sound they produce out of that combo. I use the chord mojo 2 if I want a warmer sound signature. But that combo...- gordon0986

STAX SRM-D50
I actually use the D50 with the Nectar Hive X’s! But sounds better paired with a solid state amp, I use it as a stack with my Hifiman EF 400 and actually sounds great together as a combo- gordon0986

Why are electrostatic headphones so 'good'?
I don’t own any of the stax headphones but I know I’ll take my Nectar hive X over any headphone I own easily. I heard they are better then the L700 especially when it comes to bass. Don’t know about the SR 009 but I’ve been enjoying the heck out of them. It’s a different experience when putting...- gordon0986

Introducing the HIFIMAN EF400 Balanced Desktop DAC/Amplifier!
I actually use my EF400 with the stax SRM D50 dac amp because I use electrostatic headphones as well! And the sound I actually get out of them paired together is really impressive. It makes my Arya’s and He 1000 stealth even more detailed then they already are.- gordon0986

The Stax SR-L500 and SR-L700 Impressions Thread
Glad I’m not the only one who really likes the MM 500’s! I use it with the hifiman EF 400 and it’s pretty solid and the chord mojo 2! Actually got my first electrostat headphone in the Hive X to pair with the SRM D 50! Kinda afraid the negative reviews on the D50! If I ain’t any good I’ll just...- gordon0986

The Stax SR-L500 and SR-L700 Impressions Thread
I have the Audeze MM 500 and it reminds me of a stax headphone. Very good vocals and midrange and very good sub bass- gordon0986

How would this drive The nectar hive x! Was thinking getting this our the topping EH5 amplifier but the all in one is tempting since the only other thing I can pair the EH with is the the hifiman ef 400- gordon0986

Introducing the HIFIMAN EF400 Balanced Desktop DAC/Amplifier!
Would you have any idea if a separate Dac would pair with the EF 400! I have the Gustard X26 pro Dac! But don’t want to buy another amp to pair with it. If so what cables would I need to connect them both- gordon0986

Burson Conductor 3XGT
Oh ok well good thing I have a 3.5 XLR adapter for my Arya stealth! I do have a 4.4 to 3.5 adapter so can use it with my audeze headphones. Is it worth the purchase and does it pair well with the Arya stealth?- gordon0986
