Yes, I believe they used to be - I saw many photos of Asgards with USB B sockets when I was researching amps. I think the DAC they use in the Asgards has changed, too.

A new issue has arisen when using the amp with the DAC: loud crackling static noises in the right ear. It seems to come on after the Asgard has been on for a while. I'm pretty certain it isn't the headphones or the USB cable, and that it's coming from the amp. Do I need to send it back?
