My LCD X 2021 has the same issue, the right rod slips but the left has never slipped. It’s not an issue big enough to return or try to do whatever was just described by Audeze.

The drivers really are tuned to be with a specific pad. G pads on a 225 was unlistenable as was F pads on GS1000. I

I got a pair of sr60s off eBay for cheap that had a cable like that and the ear pads had browned pretty well. But twisting should be prevented by the new braided sheathing.
