+1 for mylarone x3i, just got them and they are f#@[{ good. With great isolation too. The etymotics have lots of isolation but are much more expensive and i prefer the SQ of the Mylarone ...

For under 100$ i would look for: - Xtra x1 i love the sound - minibox d (very nice looking i don't know for the sound) - ibasso t1 or t2 - go-vibe v5 if some are left or v6 which is for me the best 100$ portable amp out here...

I think you need a smother ans hotter sound, i suppose ATH-ES7 should be nice for your budget, i think hd25 sound nicer but they are more expensive too. BOth of these cans are supraoral so maybe not the best for your big ears ^^ try sennnheisers signature maybe your ears will thank you

The hd25-1 is are very good headphones for monitoring... Or try some bd770/80ohms very nice too and mush more neutral than the senns
