Since DLNA/Upnp only supports 16-44.1, you can only do Roon bridge or play locally with its simple Android app for now. Although the TF card local playback sounds great, the Android playback app is really too simple in its functionality.

Yes, I use two Belden 1694F's for the interconnect and have never removed them since I put them on, I can set the Arcas within the Denafrips Android App to use an external clock or not and the sound has improved.

Denafrips Arcas output to Denafrips Terminator 12th-1 via USB , DSD512 stable and smooth playback has been successful. Just researched the Denafrips website for firmware update instructions for Arce & Arcas, DSD512 is only on USB output, while I2S output only DSD256 , Currently firmware.

I haven't used IRIS, just heard from the manufacturer that Denafrips streamer is superior to DDC for digital audio signals.

When I use Macmini m2 USB direct connection to Denafrips DAC, DSD512 plays fine.ARCE uses TF card to play DSD512 locally will be stuck. So, since the ARCE factory specs claim to support DSD512 playback, the problem is with the ARCE.

Setting the sample rate of Roon's output to the Denafrips Streamer to DSD512 results in a crackling sound that accompanies the music. Set it to DSD256 and the crackling disappears.

My denafrips streamer plays locally from a TF card or as a Roon Bridge, DSD512 is accompanied by a murmur, DSD256 and below is normal.

Just replaced the $2 Ugreen cable with a $9.99 Kabeldirekt hdmi cable that connects to the TV at home, and the sound from the Arce i2s to Pontus is significantly improved. The Blue Jeans EF hdmi I ordered is still in transit, so hopefully it will sound better when it arrives.

Denafrips Arce for Roon Bridge has finally stabilized. Refers to playback of audio up to DSD256 (inclusive).

In my system, as a ROON bridge, the AURALIC G1.1 USB to PONTUS 12-1 with the ARCE COAXIAL to PONTUS 12-1 sounds very similar. But compared to the overall functionality and APP of the G1.1, the ARCE is a long way off. As a ROON user, I am very happy with the ARCE.

As Denafrips first streamer, its firmware and app are still evolving.There are occasional sound jams in more than 4 or 5 hours of continuous playback, sometimes they don't occur for a day, sometimes they occur once or twice a day, and the manufacturer promises a firmware upgrade to fix it...
