Craft Ears Reviews/Impressions Thread
More or less, yes. I use it daily from my phone, and it works great. Of course, when you connect it to a better source, you gain a bit of quality, but most TOTL earphones can't be powered directly from a phone at all. However, Omniums can be, which in my opinion, is a great advantage.- EarphoneTony

In terms of dynamics, they are very close. The low-end dynamics is almost identical, although there's a slightly better structure and presence in the Omniums. The midrange dynamics (besides how midrange is presented overall, which in my opinion is the best I have ever heard in IEMs) is way...- EarphoneTony

Alright, I know everything. So sorry for the late reply, but yesterday's meeting went on for quite a while! So, I spent a lot of time with the Mentors, and I really liked them. However, they are only slightly better in terms of imaging compared to the Omniums. Just a bit better. In every other...- EarphoneTony

I own/tried almost all IEMs from Craft Ears, and today I will meet my friend who has Mentors. I will let you know after that ;) But I must admit - Omniums are killers.- EarphoneTony

Great review. IMO Aurums are one of the most complete IEMs in the industry right now. For me - TOTL on worldwide lvl. I want to mention a few things, as some have changed from what I see. Now Craft Ears adds 2.5mm balanced CM Cables Bright cable, as Aurums works way better via the balanced...- EarphoneTony

Where do you live? You should text Jed (CE Owner, - he is such a nice guy) and maybe you will figure out sth with demo units of CE6. But - IMHO as long as CE6 is a great pair of IEMs, Aurums are so much better - true TOTL for me.- EarphoneTony

IEM for metal music and hard rock - ultimate solution
Yeah, I have ;) Aurum is a no-brainer in my opinion. Way higher level regarding everything (sound, bass structure, details, soundstage, depth, and so on, and those highs... man! the best EST sound ever made) than both - Argentum and fibae7. Argentum is more fun sounding, with more bass punch...- EarphoneTony

Yeah! Got the same feelings. It's a shame that such great companies are overshadowed by another way bigger companies, which makes overall worse IEMs in workmanship and sound quality. Have you tried different CE earphones?- EarphoneTony
