Yea it is a felix echo 2 you are correct, along with a bifrost 2. I haven't tried the better cables however I definitely have been using the 6xx with the amp and dac is it does sound very nice. I will point out though that the little XDuoo amp with dual bonson opamps swapped in sounds oh so...
