Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview
Does anyone have a tiny issue with the tonality of the LCD5? I love everything about the sound but it sound a hair unnatural to me as if I am listening through an artificial layer and I'm actually thinking about returning them because of it. Does my chain have anything to do with it or does...- WoollyGeezer

7Hz Impressions & Discussion
Does anyone know how these compare to the blessing 2? I have a few totl headphones but I'm new to iems. The galaxy buds pro blew my expectations away. I will be using them for music listening, and for listening to my electronic drum kit while singing via my mixer. I do have a decent...- WoollyGeezer

So I put the Burson Soloist 3x in power amp mode. Holy Crap. All of the issues I've been having with the amplifier not supplying thump/slam to my LCD5s went away. What the hell?- WoollyGeezer

7hz Timeless vs Moondrop Blessing 2
7hz Timeless vs Moondrop Blessing 2 Does anyone have the two iems to compare the sound? I'm in the market for one of the two. I do generally prefer planar for my overear headphones(LCD5/HE1000 v2) but need some iems for portability. I have a portable amp/dac to drive whichever.- WoollyGeezer

I will be honest. I have 0 issues with comfort and I wear glasses. I will have to readjust the cups every few hours but I've worn them for multiple 10 hour listening sessions without an issue 😅. I don't get the fatigue either. The biggest downfall of the cans imo is the power required to drive...- WoollyGeezer

Does anyone know how power delivery differs between a 1/4 and XLR? I've been going between the xlr and 1/4th lcd5 stock cable and the burson seems to play nicer with the 1/4". Not sure if it's placebo but the sound is more alive to me but not necessarily cleaner. It should just be two...- WoollyGeezer

Looking for a good THX Amplifier
Hey Headfi, Currently running my Burson Soloist 3X to my LCD5 and am looking for something with a little more clarity because of how insanely detailed these are for certain applications. I love the Burson for my Hifiman he1000v2s they synergize very well with the additional warmth that seems...- WoollyGeezer

Ananda vs Arya STEALTH
I'd say skip the Arya personally especially if the Ananda is underwhelming. I've heard very good things about the HeK v2- WoollyGeezer

Ananda vs Arya STEALTH
Movies the Arya wins hands down. For gaming the Arya soundstage is too wide. The Ananda is perfect for gaming and positional audio. I prefer the Ananda tonality over the Arya for music. What are your music genres?- WoollyGeezer
