I do have drop off issues from time to time. I think it happens more often with Qobus vs Tidal over Roon. But, totally agree that it cannot be any easier. I do wish they would update the OS to be fully open android like the new sp2000

I don't have a Freya+, I only have 2 Schiit Lyr3, which according to Schiit's official website and manual that it takes "6SN7". I have used them with GT/GTA/GTB and without any issues at all.

I agree with you completely, I have the BF2 and RME ADI-2 FS. The differences are minor, but for "certain" songs I like the BF2 just slightly more, especially vocal / jazz. For popular pop songs, I cannot tell the difference too much. But, if I were to ask again, I would still buy the BF2...

I found myself grabbing the HD660s more often than not. 1. Comfort 2. Easy to listen to most songs 3. Easily works with all my amps My second choice is the HD800s I like the Elex, but still struggle with the "tight" headband.

Nice setup Bob Ley :) I have the same RME Adi2 FS -> Lyr3 -> HD800s / HD660s / Elex I usually just wait ~5min... cannot tell much difference, and I leave them on from 7am to 5pm. Out of curiosity, what kind of setting are you using on the RME Adi2 FS?

I feel the same way. I think tube rolling is very personal. I probably going to get a lot of heat for saying that I personally really like the new Tung-Sol, even more so than many of my NOS, including the USA Tung-Sol and Sylvania VT-231.
