with Final Type E in Tender1s before, and I prefer type E to any other tips. Because the bass of planar in IEMs is not enough, I think type E will provide some more bass to me. And it does need a lot of power, so you need to drive it with a powerful dap, I use dtr1+ and MacBook Pro14.2, now SG1.

Grace-S is really a good cable for many IEMs from TRI. I am a big fan of Meteor and Grace-S.

IMO, I don't think EST is smooth, the treble of EST sounds like many funny points, but the treble of a DD sounds like a line. The points are the soul of EST. you can have a try and then make your discion. your ears will never lie.
