    Nexus 5 Sound Quality?

Its said to be the same as the one in LG G2, specifically Wolfson WCD9320 as per the service manual (mentioned in the relevant xda thread).

Walkman NWZ F886 officialy announced!! [192khz/24bits]

I use a Nexus 5 (with PowerAmp). But instead of thinking if I want an F886, I think I would rather get a Z3 Compact. That's what I think of at the moment, but it may change.  LOL

    sony nw-a806

Does this NW-A806 player always need SonicStage to be able to add/delete MP3 files in it?   I have an NW-S754 and it just gets detected as storage so can easily drag/drop files onto it, I use Windows 7.   Need reply asap.  Thanks!

Walkman NWZ F886 officialy announced!! [192khz/24bits]

i can attest that Nexus 5 volume isn't powerful.  i mean, when i want full listening immersion i have to listen at least 2 notches below the highest volume to enjoy.  same with its speakers.   this low volume is widely known to exist on all Nexus 5, so it may be an issue or not.  its another...

Walkman NWZ F886 officialy announced!! [192khz/24bits]

okay poison me more. lol. i did see a cheap deal of NW-A806 probably will play with that for the meantime. it must be the DSEE, Clear Bass and Clear Stereo. i do know that on this F88x series there's an S-Master and DSEE HX... so...

Walkman NWZ F886 officialy announced!! [192khz/24bits]

i got a feeling that you're right.  like i said, NW-S754 sounds better than what Poweramp+Nexus5 can do. perhaps i should try configure Nexus5's Poweramp to the closest it can get... but i know at the back of my mind i am thinking of this F886/7.

Walkman NWZ F886 officialy announced!! [192khz/24bits]

is there a thread already for NWZ-F887?   http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=5078&view=1&c=sony_walkman_nw-f887_64gb   this is an interesting device for me, but so damn expensive and redundant (as i already have a Nexus 5).   bookmarking this very informative thread.

My Review of the Audio Technica ATH-ANC23

bought this ATH-ANC23 yesterday.  sounds great, and the noise canceling really works. the only thing i need to get used with its sound signature is the less roominess, less environment, or simply less soundstage. it being fully closed/sealed is the cause.   well i'm coming from sennheiser...

    Cleaning my PX100

thank you for the pictures.  what i want to happen is to replace the foamy part at the back of the driver (where the headband is attached into).  this is NOT the foam that touches your ears okay.  since the pictures did not show the back part, would it even be possible?  thanks!

    Philips SHE9500 / SHE9501 In-Ear Headphone

This IEM costs like USD 31.5 here in Manila, Philippines. Bought one yesterday, it immediately sounded crappy. Burned in for around an hour resulted in some improvement. However, the feebacks stated above are correct. Quote: "Muddy bass and sounds thin across the board." "Sounds...
