How does the Hype 4 fare against the Doscinco?

How long til Sony releases a successor to the Z1R? It's been on my radar for years but there's a lot of stuff nowadays for less. I'm getting a flagship IEM if I don't upgrade my old Dell laptop later this year. I don't wanna buy a Z1R and then Sony announces a successor 3 days after.

Noticed that the grill on the Aurora looks like a flower, never seen this before on an IEM.

The Yanyin Moonlight comment sounds like something Crin would comment and then say absolutely NOT! when he looks up the price.. People who can easily demo sets are pretty darn blessed, not having to make any leap of faiths when deciding on sets is an underrated advantage.

Everything on offer look like generic, nameless products bought from Ali or Taobao and rebranded to be sold at a premium. 250$ for a pair of IEMs that probably retail for around fifty or maybe even less than that. I could be totally wrong but the wireless IEMs look like rebranded KZs and jrumz...

Did anyone get the Audio Volare pricing right? I thought this was around $1,600 judging by the driver config and unboxing. I've seen a bit of hype going around, is this the new best thing or a soup of the week IEM?

I'm not a basshead but I don't have any basshead IEMs on hand. Meteor has quite a bit of bass, but I wouldn't call the Meteor a true basshead IEM. Pretty sure Precog will review the Titan, interested to see what people think of this set.

The rusty Aria 2 nozzle is probably due to heat and humidity, I own a Mangird Tea 2 and Kbear Diamond with oxidized nozzles and live in a humid place. You'd think Moondrop would improve build quality given that the Starfield and Aria was plagued by build quality issues but nope.

Moondrop and poor QC goes together like milk and chocolate apparently.

Aroma Jewels look like 200 dollar chi-fi but are one of the most expensive IEMs I've seen. I know the target demographic for these won't care about aesthetics but c'mon, I expect far better build quality when I'm dropping 5k on a pair of IEMs.

I'm guessing the inclusion of micro planars in the Dusk 2 is because the OG Dusk didn't have good treble extension which is something Crinacle talked about. Might pre-order a set, I enjoyed the OG Dusk enough to give the sequel a chance.

I own more than enough IEMs to exit the hobby but like to try sets out.
