Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

You might want to consider upgrading your DAP or opting for the Mojo2 for desktop usage! :D Don't get me wrong, I'm fond of the 900, but at half the price, the 600 seems more reasonable. Unless you're particularly drawn to the 'unique' tuning of the 900, the mainstream tuning and affordability...

    IBasso DC-Elite . . . The no compromise DAC/AMP with a true Stepped Attenuator

The "Sound Check" feature is the normalization process, in other platforms such as Tidal and Spotify, that feature is named "Normalize Volume". When you use this feature, it tries to "flatten" the loudness between songs, the usual consequence is that almost all songs will be reduced in loudness...

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best

For light usage with IEMs, do find that desktop mode may improve the sound by separating the power to a clean power source such as a battery bank?

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best

Totally agree with you, the Colorfly has a meaty sound like a big hamburger, but it is controlled very well, not muffled and dull, and produces an energetic sound with details :D

    In-Ear Monitor Maintenance | 64 Audio

I have used alcohol wipes to clean my earphones (both universal and custom) for years to disinfect them after use and all of them including resin and metal have not had any damages. Furthermore, it evaporates very quickly, I just need to wait about 10 seconds before storing them in my hard case.

Lotoo PAW S2 USB DAC AMP 150 mW@32 ohm 4.4 , MQA - New Firmware released 26 January 2.0.0.5 link added first post.

As I remember, Windows automatically installs the appropriate driver when you plug the S2 in, cannot re-check it since I do not own S2 anymore, but all dongles I used are always plug and play without manually installing the driver.

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]

If you want a "hi-fi audio" cable, try some from DDHifi or AudioQuest. Otherwise, I recommend the Anker Flow cable, it has some advantages I found when pairing with DAC/AMP with my laptop: The connectors are firm, well stable connected. The cable is soft and flexible, so I can route it easily...

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best

Have not tried the other except the DC03 Pro, I would comment that if comparing to your old BTR5, the DC03 Pro is a little bit more analog, but for the punchier aspect, I do not think it is punchier, and obviously, it is still neutral :D. However, I think that if you want to use it with your...

DX260 Digital Audio Player, a New avenue to your music. Preorders have started. Easily replaceable battery. NEW Firmware Update! 2.02

Even when the iBasso is out of dated by Android (which is fairly longgg since currently Tidal still supports Android 6), I can use it as an offline DAP. But if I cannot replace the battery (at least by myself), I cannot use the device anymore even it has the newest Android :D

DX260 Digital Audio Player, a New avenue to your music. Preorders have started. Easily replaceable battery. NEW Firmware Update! 2.02

That is my thought too, even if we assume that iBasso does not sell the battery pack themselves. We just need to find another source selling the battery that can easily replace it instead of a combination of finding the battery with a fear of how to replace it. The battery-finding activity is...

DX260 Digital Audio Player, a New avenue to your music. Preorders have started. Easily replaceable battery. NEW Firmware Update! 2.02

I think iBasso will sell it or we can find a similar one on e-commerce markets by its specifications. The key point here is that iBasso intentionally designed it to let users replace it easily without sending it to the service center.

MDR-Z1R is an easy-to-drive headphone, so even with an Apple dongle, you still can hear the powerful bass and wide soundstage of Z1R. Obviously, more high-end sources will give you a better experience.
