Dekoni Audio Ear Pads for the Abyss Diana? Say no more!
I'm no audiophile but here is what I have written up on this: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/dekoni-audio-ear-pads-for-the-abyss-diana-say-no-more.965457/post-17268077 I actually prefer these to the Abyss pads for sound as well. I'm pretty sure you have 30 days on the Dekoni's if you don't...- user4404

Dekoni Audio Ear Pads for the Abyss Diana? Say no more!
@peripheralsdealer I've tried every version pad and it's Dekoni>v1>v3>v2 for me. The Dekoni's are the most comfortable pads by a large margin in my opinion. I was very close to selling these until I tried them. Probably not what you want to hear but could be worth the investment if you want to...- user4404

Beyerdynamic T5 versions for gaming
Hello, I really enjoy gaming with the Beyerdynamic T1 2nd generation but am realizing that I would benefit from a closed-back gaming headphone. Ideally I would use this to listen to some music as well throughout the day but that really isn't the primary use. I'm currently using the Focal...- user4404

Dekoni Audio Ear Pads for the Abyss Diana? Say no more!
There is very much a difference in the pads, especially between the original Diana (v1) pads versus the v2 pad variations. The latest variation are the warmest I have heard. I have not done anything with this. I did see they are about to release a ported pad if that's something that interests...- user4404

Dekoni Audio Ear Pads for the Abyss Diana? Say no more!
Purchased these late last week... here are a few quick notes from only a few hours of listening. Note, I'm no audiophile, just a random guy who can't seem to control his spending on audio equipment. Source is the Burson Conductor 3P. Comfort These are BY FAR the most comfortable ear pads for...- user4404

Looking for reviewers - Dekoni Audio Ear Pads!
I have a Diana v1 with old v1 pads and the new v2 pads. Would love to try out the Dekoni's as I like the shape of the original v1 pads but the seam of the leather caused discomfort on my face and these appear to maybe remedy that. Additionally, I am hoping these have a bit more of the improved...- user4404

Higher-end closed back recommendations
Thanks @Barnstormer13 and @Cactopus. I’m starting to think the same thing on the radiance. Sound on the radiance was definitely good enough for my ears and I do think some wider pads would have solved my issues. Trying to think about what to do here. I am about to start a company for trying...- user4404

I received the Stellia in house and I am impressed. Unfortunately the headphone is not comfortable for me at all. The spring action is so tight it causes the bottom of the ear cup to jam into my jaw and I can only wear it about 45 minutes. It’s debatable what I will do with this. I am pretty...- user4404

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV
Thanks @Lx3A and @AudioDuck. I had a feeling the Stellia might be closer to the Radiance based on the pad type. The Elegia for me stayed on almost perfectly whereas the Radiance slid around on my head. Appreciate the insights.- user4404

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV
Can anyone talk to the fit of the Stellia, specifically versus the Radiance? I have tried the Elegia and Radiance. While the Elegia fit really well, the Radiance did not. I could likely attribute it to the thicker pads but wasn't sure if there was just overall less clamp as well. Anyway...- user4404

Burson Playmate 2 vs Conductor 3x Performance
Thanks for the info. Convenience is king! I find myself just rubbing the top of the Burson because it looks so good. I’m not sure I can let it go at this point.- user4404

Burson Playmate 2 vs Conductor 3x Performance
As the title suggests, does anyone have a strong feeling towards either one of these? I currently have a 3x Performance at my house but after looking at specs of the Playmate 2 I wonder if I should save myself the $800. Current daily driver is the Abyss Diana and I have both balanced and single...- user4404

I guess I was a little harsh... good headphone and fantastic value (especially now with some of the open box units you can find), just overall it wasn't for me. That being said, the Radiance was right up there but just got frustrating with how they fell off my head.- user4404

I was initially interested in this one as I owned some other DCA headphones in the past, but I've found that I'm starting to enjoy the dynamic punch which seems to be missing from the DCA line. I do love these headphones for just easy listening though, ether 2 is still one of my favorite. Thanks...- user4404

Thanks for the reply and I should have mentioned my amps. I have a Burson Conductor 3x Performance and a Monoprice THX. Generally gravitate that direction over tubes as I'm sitting at my desk most of the time (though the Woo Audio is interesting!). I appreciate the comment on tonality, good to...- user4404
