    Ah fair enough. I also preferred the W1000 more than the X tbh. It sounded alot more organic .

    Curious, what sort've genre are you into? Had the W1000X for a while, but I wouldnt consider them superior to D5200/HD600/K702.

    AKG K501 love...

    I thought the Yaxi pads were fantastic on the K501. Both comfort and sound-wise. They're not cheap though unfortunately.

    I have both Sundara and HD600. For classical, HD600 is an absolute winner for the genre. No question IMHO.

    HD600 for classical for me. AKG does classical well too, but the HD600 bests them IMO...even the K812.

    Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!

    I found them very loose when I had them..they'd literally drop if I tilted my head backwards. Thick pads or velour coating might help.

    Yaxi pads are brilliant, however I found them to be too big for the D5200. Dekoni pads fit better.

    Audioquest nighthawks/owls are super fun and will complement what you currently have. Not sure of the pricing nowadays though.

    I had the ZMF Auteur / Verite for over 7 days and I am honestly disappointed with their performance, especially for the price point. I genuinely think they're way over hyped on the internet.

    I would seriously consider Yaxi pads. They were super comfortable when I had them on my previous Beyers.
