Thank you for the reply. Player was supplied without a charger so it was charged via USB on my PC.

Hi all, thank you for the add. I picked up a "mint" a&k SR15 audio player on eBay a couple of days ago. Hugely impressed with the sound, however it is running very hot and I'm only getting approx 5 hours of continuous play from it. Left the player on standby at 100% charge before going to bed...
