Just use some glue, the uv resin works well but you need to be careful with vented drivers. In this case I felt like the tubes were enough to hold the BAs in place but I glued the DD module down with resin. I use bondic glue to attach the tubes to the drivers and also to make sure the crossover...

I haven't actually worked with an SWFK, only an e-audio clone. I posted about that set a while back (page 967) but can't really say if it was easier or not as that was my first real multi driver set and I had different goals for it. This time I wanted nice extension without harshness but seems...

Thanks! Do you mean the lacquer on the faceplate? It's not perfect, the camera makes it look better than it is. RAU sounds nice but the massive peak at 7-10k (depending on tubing) makes it difficult to cross while keeping extension. It took a lot of experimenting with cap values and precise...

Rinko even has double sided magnets and from the pictures it doesn't look like it has a surround. I admit that I did think it looked like a dynamic on first glance because of the round coil but it is a planar for sure. Since you have the driver, what do you think of the sound quality?

Are you referring to the SPD or seeaudio rinko? The rinko is basically a planar but not a very good one.

Yeah the hs14pd the one I was talking about. The other is a dd.

These early 14mm planars are all pretty similar and made by earbridge afaik. I got that same one but from taobao for about half the price. If you look at the picture you can see that it's missing the chamber on the back they usually have. I made a 3d model for that, it's definitely needed. Go to...

Has anyone tried Knowles RDU? Seems to be a dual version of RAU. Would two RAUs be beneficial or is one good enough?

Not sure what you mean, these look like normal DDs to me.

This doesn't look ideal to be honest But to answer your question I would cut here.

There's your issue, caps don't let DC current through. They have higher impedance at low frequencies which is why they act as a high pass. DC is basically 0Hz AC so the cap isolates. Btw, I'd recommend investing in a nice multimeter, it's good to have something where you feel like you can trust...

I use IFUN High Clear because the medical stuff is way too expensive for me and I go through a lot of it prototyping. It prints well, doesn't yellow much and doesn't smell too bad. Hopefully covering it in biocompatible lacquer is enough to be safe but I can't see why it shouldn't be.

I also use the mono 4k. Would a pair of shells fit the micro led build volume? Keep in mind that if you can only do one at a time you have double the printing time and have to do post processing twice.

Other sellers on aliexpress also have their drivers buy way overpriced.

Huayunxin store on aliexpress. They make very good quality drivers, I'm currently working on a 2dd with their red 6mm driver.

What printer specifically? Assuming that it prints well, that resolution should be enough for most things. You will need to sand the outside of the shell more to get a good finish and you might not be able to do very fine structures like 3d printed tubing.

I've bought drivers from both of these stores as well as Tommy Acoustics and they all looked new and the ones I've tested worked perfectly. I think it's well worth it considering how much cheaper they are...

I think that stuff is for high temperature applications. You burn the resin out and leave ceramic behind. I imagine that it will be porous though. Not sure why you would want to use that for iems.
