Yes Roon core and endpoint on same MAC mini. I only have to restart Roon app. Not Mac. I see the device in the midi audio application but not showing in Roon ready devices

Great information--thanks for this detail. I have a question that I think may be related. Roon audio devices aren't recognized when I turn my external DAC off. I dont put the Roon application to sleep, I just turn off the DAC. When I turn the DAC back on the next day---Roon doesnt "see" the DAC...
