Can anyone do a comparison of the fir xe6 vs legend evo? Am wondering how the sub bass and soundstage compare between the two.

You could find a used legend x for around 1100. Not better than evo but up there bass wise

I bought 3k iems to listen to electronic music and i realize most of its made by kids on 800 dollar laptops still living with their parents. But the bass boost suits the style quite well

Nothing a little eq can't fix. The weapon x handle eq extremely well. I'm a basshead myself and I've even got the evos a little boosted with a +1.5 db lowshelf under 65hz

Only took about 10 hours, but much much tighter and I felt extension was perceptively deeper. Before burn it, bass sounded very boomy, but after I got that nice subbass rumble that I desired with controlled midbass

Like 40 percent of the time otherwise I do just throw them in my pocket. I know it's reckless hence why I wish they were a bit more durable

Honestly not that unforgiving. I use them all day, when I'm not using them they chill in my pocket, or they hang from my ears briefly. Most of the time they've been cracked from chillin in my pocket. I started using a soft case to help but still they get damaged eventually. I work as an audio...

Ee are the only iems I've had that are made from acrylic. Other iems I use are u12t, UM indigo, and Fir krypton 5, which I've been equally rough with but they are built from stronger materials. Unfortunately for me the EVO are my favorites but alas the most fragile of the bunch :((

Anyone wish Empire Ears made their iems more durable? I've cracked the acrylic on my evos 3 times in the past 2 years. Definitely my fault but kind of swish they had a metal or carbon fiber option. I use them all day everyday so having something tougher would be ideal

I had the crystals for a while. I did like them but not good if you are always popping your iems in and out. Takes too long to get them back In your ears at least for me. Stuck with the soft white azlas instead

Anyone else have their final e constantly coming loose from the tips and getting stuck in your ears? So frustrating. I was buying new final es almost every other month before I had to switch to a different brand altogether

Advice for when tips are stuck in your ear is to use your cables jack to help pick your the tip by trying to fit it into the ear bud hole for grip and kind of scrape it out of your ear
