I can play 16-bit / 44.1 KHz without resampling just fine with my Meizu DAC Pro, there are no issues with Pro version.- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
It is stated that these DACs, including the Meizu DAC, the microphone / headset cable buttons doesn't work if the phone also have a 3.5mm headphone jack. It works for phones that only have a USB-C port. I have the Meizu DAC Pro and mic and headset cable buttons work just fine with my "HTC U11"...- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
Ok, after 36 days of waiting, I finally got my Meizu DAC Pro today and WOW.. compared to my HTC U11 DAC, soundstage is wider, cleaner sound, deeper bass, stereo is nicely balanced. I wouldn't say it sounds louder than HTC's DAC but it's surely a really nice improvement. No beeps, pops, hissing...- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
From what I read in the forum and other review sites, the Meizu DAC "Pro" version fixes the stuttering and you don't need to force the 48KHz re-sampling. You got the non-Pro Meizu DAC, and that one have stuttering/pops/clicks when playing. The Pro version seems to fix this exact problem. I...- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
No it's not. iPhones use a USB Lightning connector, different than USB-C connector in the Meizu DAC. I'm not sure if you use a "USB Lightning to USC-C" adapter then connect the Meizu DAC in it would even work.- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
That's what I chose, standard shipping. I bought something else earlier this year and it took 34 days to arrive, but it was from a different seller on the website. I don't mind waiting as long as the product gets here, and in one piece :) Currently I'm using HTC's bundled DAC cable with my HTC...- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
No iPad here, I'm using a HTC U11 phone but the HTC's DAC adapter sounds muffled even after tweaking the audio with PowerAmp's 10-band equalizer. I hope the Meizu DAC will be clearer. I'll post results when I receive the Meizu DAC adapter :)- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
hi, you'll probably good with the Meizu HiFi DAC Pro adapter when using the Steelseries Artics 3 headphone, but the "Sony MDR-1A" I'm not sure. Hopefully someone can help you with that. I will buy this Meizu DAC Pro myself but my headphone is a humble one: Pioneer SE-MJ553BT-R, 40mm driver...- CiroConsentino

Galaxy S9/S9+ audio quality
Ok, I won't be able o buy a new phone, instead I'm thinking on buying the Meizu HiFi DAC Pro adapter and use it with my HTC U11 instead of the HTC's own adapter (unknown DAC and specs).- CiroConsentino

Galaxy S9/S9+ audio quality
I did lowered the volume, didn't help. Audio still punchy. I think the DAC in HTC's USB-C to 3.5mm adapter auto-converts the audio to 24bit / 48KHz and you have no way to change this. But if S9+ with Snapdragon chip (or get the S9+ with Snapdragon chip if it has the same same sound quality) has...- CiroConsentino

Samsung Galaxy S9+ (Snapdragon chip) or LG G7 ThinQ for headphone music
Hi all, can someone help with this ? I can't decide between "LG G7 ThinQ" and Samsung S9+ (Snapdragon chip). I listen to music a lot (wired headphones only), but 99% of my FLAC files are CD quality (16 bits, 44.1KHz). I'll probably never listen to HD audio (24 bits, 192KHz...), and I use...- CiroConsentino

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
hi, I have a HTC U11 with the original HTC USB-C to 3.5mm adapter that came with the phone. The adapter quality is amazing, sound is great, no distortion, clean, no background noise, does not heat up. There's no info on the DAC inside the adapter though. But I only use it with my HTC U11 and a...- CiroConsentino
