Website says 13 ohms and yes that is more than enough power - likely more than 2.5 as much as you'll need. I've never maxed out my Mojo (Just under 1W at that impedance if memory serves).

A vote for the Chord Mojo for my portable setup with the A2C. Outside of super critical listening I can't tell the difference between the Mojo and the RME ADI-2 DAC... and it's tiny! I have the Xduoo XD-05 plus on its way too for comparison but the Mojo is much more portable.

Closed backs are generally not ideal at loud volumes because the sound pressure has nowhere to go. My set most certainly does not distort, clip, or sound bad in any way at high volume... your issues are again your own. My phone dB meter pushes 80dB and still they just sound... loud. Louder and...

Did you look at the head-fi FR graph as well done on far more accurate equipment rather than hanging on to the only evidence you have? Again... I do not hear any significant dip. A -20dB dip would be very obvious.

... the only common string instrument that commonly extends beyond 4k is the violin and it's rare that it does so consistently in music. In that review they mention using minidsp EARS and their FR graph is completely different than the one posted by head-fi which is done with much better...

I concur. Different does not equate greater than. To my ear, the Clear sounded artificial and lacked sub-bass (impact?). "Tin-y" is how I described it in my notes though I can't imagine a headphone in that class sounding what I interpret as "tin-y" now. Probably just different tuning. Never...

I feel like Ether CX makes a better monitor. A2C maybe with bass ports partially blocked as it has been warmed a bit imo.
