[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC
If I intended to ONLY use if for wireless, that would be a good idea. When the 12yo Mac Mini I currently use as a music server at home dies, the DAP will probably be used for that purpose as well.- RayG63

Lots of cut out interference using my M11 with bluetooth to a pair of Sony WH-1000s on the train this morning. Changed the bluetooth from LDAC to aptX, hoping lower res would be less subject to interference, but no better. Switched to streaming from my phone - no interference at all. This...- RayG63

Somewhere I have an email from Fiio support saying the M11 only runs 330 & 660 kbps LDAC. I think someone here said this was to increase battery life.- RayG63

Where are you using this? If on a train/plane/bus, the answer is probably not. Otherwise, organise an M11 trial to make sure you can get a good connection with AptXHD, etc.- RayG63

Somewhere I have an email from Fiio support saying the two LDAC options for the M11 are 330 and 660kbps, it doesn't support 990kbps. It's a moot point, as I can't get it to maintain a good connection with my Sony headphones at 660kbps, so 990kbps would be of no use at all.- RayG63

I see on your website at https://fiio.com/newsinfo/412218.html, you've released a new version of The FiiO Music App (v1.2.0) for Android devices. But that update also says Don't update this version if you are using M11/M11PRO/M15. I thought the M11 was an Android device?- RayG63

My solution worked. At 25000+ tracks, your solution would be prohibitively lengthy. Poweramp proves this isn't necessary if you know how to write a music player app that works.- RayG63

I have an album that had bad album artists tags, so it was sorted as various artists in both Fiio Music and Poweramp. I deleted it from the M11, retagged it on my media server and re-added it. Rescanned the files (using both apps). Poweramp has now sorted it correctly, but Fiio Music has not...- RayG63

Going to have to withdraw my compliments. The Artist List Display is now displaying Album Artist, but it's not sorting by it. Still sorting by Artist, mostly. Where the Artist varies, I'm not sure what it's sorting by. Possibly the Artist that would sort the earliest out of all the Artists in...- RayG63

Thank you for introducing sort by album artist with 1.0.9. It's a great improvement. BUT, the thumbnails in the Artist List Display are too small. I've increased the display size to Large in the general device settings, but that's not enough. I don't want to have to put on my glasses when I use...- RayG63

That's disappointing. There's text on your website where you say "The FiiO Music app was designed for audiophiles by audiophiles, with both a user interface that provides easy access to your music...". Seems a bit misleading in hindsight. -

Well, it's now over six months later and we still don't have Album Artist support in the app. Any ETA on this?
