Earphone DIY Labs Wood Grado Cups + Dimensions!
Photos here: https://imgur.com/a/WQTBVze Hello everyone! I received a set of wood cups from Earphone DIY Labs this afternoon. At $60, these are about the cheapest cups you can get, but be aware they are not full cups and are intended to be used with the Grado sleeves. I would consider them to...- Kryosphinx

Etymotic ER6i Headphones and Potential Sadness
The bass quantity really depends on the seal you get. If you can manage a really tight and solid seal, the bass is very deep, accurate, and reasonably high. If you don't get a good seal though, bye bye bass.- Kryosphinx

It happens mainly on websites, ebay especially, but it also happens with foobar when i scroll down the list of songs. Whenever the screen refreshes, the sound goes cracklypoppy, but only if...- Kryosphinx

You could try that foam repadding job with the 414 pads. Maybe those don't itch as much.- Kryosphinx

how is rosin flux soldering paste meant to be properly used?
Usually, I use a tiny little brush for big work, and then a really thin toothpick for smd stuff. You just put the unmelted flux on the soldering spot and then solder like normal. It'll smoke and stuff, but it helps get the solder on and in the joint. Try google.com There are tons of tutorials...- Kryosphinx

JVC Marshmallows V2 are here! Introducing the JVC HA-FX66!
Are these low profile when they're in your ears? With marshmallows, i could stick em deep into my ear and they'd pretty much disappear. Excellent for sleeping.- Kryosphinx

Upgrade from Marshmallows? Shure SE110, Ety ER6 or UE metro?
Keep in mind that there aren't a whole lot of IEM's that have as much bass as the marshmallows, so if you like that amount of bass, choose your upgrade carefully. From what I've read, ety's don't have nearly as much bass as those marshmallows.- Kryosphinx
