Thanks for the response Joe, here’s the latest. Restored to factory and power level now indicates “0”. Zilch. Have it plugged in for an overnight feed, we’ll see in the morning. Plug in on the R3 feels sloppy though.

Thanks in advance..... Abandoning iPod, early Fiio amp and Dunu d16s. On the learning ramp with a new Hiby R3. Finding so far that the d16s are underwhelming with the r3. No volume. Not getting it. So, looking for a $200us max set of in ears. ( years of spend now worry later are long past)...
