I am curious to if you have tested the G6 + AKG 712 Pros together and what they are like?. I have seen reported that say the G6 can't power them properly while others suggesting the G6 is more than fine. I was also looking as the X2HRs. Which would you persoanlly pick between the two + a good...

Yeah, that's generally what i have seen the general consensus being in regards to them both. I can either go the Creative G6 with the X2s which is about £310 brand new or the K712 pros with the JDS Labs Atom for £300 though i would need a DAC.. >.<

They seem to be going for £120-£140 on Ebay just from a quick look. I do however have some concerns such as my onboard audio being kinda trash.. I no longer have the E10k as i sent it back with the DT 990s. The only concern is the X2HRs have priced jumped by £30 and are £260 and heard several people say it's not worth it at that price point and much better options.. :)
