Mine does exactly the same, move it even one click and it goes an some random cycle of rapid volume changes. I'm sure it happened immediately after one of the OS updates but can't remember which. I've been using the sound menu to change volume ever since.

@FiiO I've installed and now noticed that I can change the artist list to 'Album artist' in the settings! This is great! However I only seem to have 14 artists listed (should be over 100) and one of them (Toots and the Maytals) appears to have over 4000 songs which don't exist once I drill down...

I'm really happy with my flc8s, they were less than £150 when I bought them about 2-3 years ago. If I was buying again I'd get the updated ones, flc8D or flc8N. Although they all seem difficult to get at the moment in the UK.

This has been happening on mine since the last firmware update, happens when I wake up the screen on line out and I think on 2.5 as well, not tried on 3.5. I'm certain it's not from pressing pause button at same time. I only ever use pure music mode so not sure if it happens with other apps.
