No there isn't. I just plug in it with the provided type C cable. It also works with other cables though. My previous phone was S10+ and there was no problem with it too.

It's the phone. I have got S10+ and when I use the phone with my KA3 or Hidizs S9 Pro, I hear pops and cracks randomly with both of them. When l connect them to my Tab S7, all the noises disappear.

Monoprice Monolith USB DAC works without hassle with the Note9 and the S10+ I have UAPP on my phone but this DAC works good without this app also. Only complaint is it eats battery charge fast.

I have a problem with my Samsung S10 Plus and BTR3. When I choose the "Optimized for Audio Quality" in Developer Options, audio is stuttering. No problem with the other options. I never had this issue with my Note9. Any opinions?

You misunderstood the point. I was comparing the BTR3 with the Note9's headphone output.

Note9 Exynos model's audio quality is on par with Fiio BTR3 (when using LDAC) IMO. Output is a bit low of course. (~1V, I guess) But if you connect an headphone amp (I use Fiio K11/A3) to Note9's output, the result is superb.

I have contacted them also on Facebook last Friday and still no answer. They look like unwilling to refund. What kind of a company is this, I can't understand. Today I have reported this fraud to my credit card issuer. I will never ever buy any of Hidizs' products.
