That would be great. I read a head-fi review vs the gen 3 and most of the complaints were os issues that I personally haven't experienced so it's not really helpful for me. Guessing something like the RS6 would be a more significant upgrade in the long run anyways.- DaOchin

LCD-X and XC Update
Bought the shorter headband and that is the way to go IMO. The original headband made it feel like they were weighing down on my neck, now it feels more floating. I don't get why the longer headband is standard.- DaOchin

I've used Sparkos and Burson, quite enjoyed both and it definitely helped with the HP output. For high impedance it's probably not the best though.- DaOchin

I just tried mine and it works fine with poweramp and the hiby player. Poweramp: OpenSL output enabled for usb dac, hiby: I didn't change anything for hiby but you can try exclusive hq usb audio access. Also check the android dev settings to see if usb audio routing is disabled.- DaOchin

Try a slight bend, as it's been said most of us go outward but it should be fine if you make small adjustments.- DaOchin

I haven't used either of those but for awhile I had a weird bug with Poweramp where using the experimental hi-res output setting it would max out the headphone volume once the headphone jack was connected and I was unable to reduce the volume. Reinstalling fixed it but I still don't know what it...- DaOchin

Has anyone encountered the volume maxing out when connecting and disconnecting headphones? It's caught me by surprise a couple times now and it never used to do this.- DaOchin

Depends on your headphones functionality but you should just be able to directly connect to the usb port.- DaOchin

Yep the ss3602 fit perfectly with 2 risers for me. I was considering trying the ss2590 but it looks like I would have to leave the unit open and use a different number of risers to work.- DaOchin

So while I was visitng my brother I was able to confirm that the setup worked with the powered apple USB-C dongle. It had to have a separate power source for the dongle or it didn't work.- DaOchin

I'm going to assume like most things it depends on what it's connected to. I've been able to get it to work with my Denon receiver and my Dx7Pro, no issues with sound quality that I could detect. Connection was simple, usb-C from the R6 directly into the coax input.- DaOchin

I had to lower the mids (6k-10k) also and then added a bass shelf. I felt they were more harsh with the balanced cable so I use the 3.5mm. Now I like them a lot.- DaOchin

Looks like you might need an apple usb-c to usb-a adapter and a powered hub. I don't have either one so I can't test it. I did try it with my Fiio X3MII and it immediately goes into dac mode. Of course this isn't running off the android OS so I suspect that may require some work around.- DaOchin
