I agree with this! I found they were a big step backwards for Sony. Almost non-existant treble and bass that rolls off quickly below 40hz.

I returned the WF-1000XM4 only after 1 day of use. The sound quality was a huge let down for me. As per the graphs, the treble and detail in these things are very recessed, and even with max settings in the eq. they still lacked detail, air and finesse for me.

Valkyrie still has the thin mids that plagued the original Valkyrie.

I am now using the Lurker firmware and Tidal is finally working! So much for Paul at Ibasso blaming Tidal.

I found the complete opposite! The M11 and M11Pro sound sterile and analytical to me. The DX160 has more dynamics and more bass punch.

It’s traditional for Fiio to release more dud crappy IEM’s. How they managed to bring the great FD5 to the market does surprise me for this organisation.

Has anyone recently installed Tidal from the APK store? ( within a day or two) I have successfully installed Tidal on my DX160, the app works fine however no tracks play at all. Any ideas?

I guess the next step up from the H40 is the Penon Globe. Or maybe the FiiO FH5s?
