What a long, strange trip it's been -- (Robert Hunter)

I'd pass. I'm sure I'm in the vast minority, but... Skip the DAC, I'd want a transport only (prefer the Schiit DAC I have) Universal Transport, add DVD, Blu-Ray and SACD capabilities. - There must be some technical impediment to this. I have a Yamaha Blu-Ray player for playing CD's, DVD-A...

What a long, strange trip it's been -- (Robert Hunter)

Forgive me as I’m a relative noob, but does it sacrifice anything to be a universal player with no video? I have a dozen or so SACD and a dozen or so DVD-A. I’d pay a premium to get rid of the blu-ray player in my 2 channel system.

A transport that plays CD, SACD & DVD-A would be a killer. I hate having a Yamaha Blue Ray player in my system.
