Hey guys any comments on the different sound signature on stock Tidal app vs. APK version. @Jason - is there maybe some differerence in processing or smthing?

Yea same concusion here. @JasonNYC: Do you maybe have info why APK does not work yet, since on the android phones with MQA support tidal APK works with master? Since having MQA and not having offline mode (which is only reserved for APK) is again limited use :) Thanks for feedback in advance.

I agree, i think it has to to with tidal apk 2.9.4 (if you listen to stock app the difference is subtle but obvious) - using focal Elear.

Unfortenatly not, but there is a written confitmation from AK that they will add mqa support until the end of 2018.

In regards to changes between stock and apk tidal app (v 2.9.4) anyone else noticing very subtle SQ difference. In direct comparison I get a bit less detail but more musicality (less harshnes in some edm tracks) and tad wider soundstage. Dunno if its new toy syndrome or something else?

Also - if i understand correctly: Deezer Music Streaming service will be added as an embedded app on Astell&Kern players. Deezer features more than 53 million tracks available for streaming in over 180 countries and supports CD-quality audio streaming. - Does this mean Deezer HI-FI mode?

Any info on what new firmware means for MQA on tidal app. As far as i know some mobiles with apk (LG) have tidal MQA. Is the same possible with the new firmware? (I was one of those who bought SP1000 after the (now we know) fake announcement of MQA support).
