    eeyssjr, I agree for the price, there should be less plastic and more metal or even carbon fiber in the construction of the earspeakers, but I didn't experience the problems you did. Sibilances didn't seem exaggerated, instead the sound seemed to be natural and refined. I'll try some more...

    Question for the Stax guys in the audience.

    My experience has been the same. If you tweak the earspeakers a certain way while trying to adjust them, some distortions occur, but they disappear within a few seconds.
