    Audio GD NFB-11.28 vs R2R 11

power and signal tweaks. -low interwinding capacitance isolation transformer -quadrapole power cable -galvanically isolated input -low noise reclocked transport the best budget system i came up with consisting of used components: topaz 91091 or 91092 preferably -32 but -12 and -22 are fine...

Topaz Low-Capacitance Isolation Transformers - for Affordably Clean Power

Is there anyway to reduce emf? faraday cages? iron cases? i measure 0.0mg at my seating positions, but its a cheap $10 tester and i sit about 4' from a unit. I realised an area with a bunch of switching supplies radiates a 10mg field on the other side of the wall. interestingly uptones...

Topaz Low-Capacitance Isolation Transformers - for Affordably Clean Power

hmm, so the uptones lps + the shunted smps provide complete isolation breaking high and low impedance leakage loops. You could try with the pc off the topaz but the regens lps on the topaz, but I think leaving the pc and lps on the topaz would be better, having leakage loops when one component...

Topaz Low-Capacitance Isolation Transformers - for Affordably Clean Power

if youre using the iso regen with galvanic isolation and the uptone ultracap lps has the ground shunted smps i would not put the pc and the smps on the topaz.

The photos labeled. I have a Sim2 Mico 40 using Luminus Phlatlight PT-120 LEDs. Also, 10 years ago there was an rgb laser rptv, the Mitsubishi Laservue that could do 100%+ And, several of the new rgb laser ust projectors have a similar gamut coverage. The Samsung Lsp9t, Chiq C8UT, Hisense...

Something recently happened that reminded me of this. Kind of off-topic for this thread but w.e. An industry expert, and I mean 20 years + well respected display calibration and home theater services and reviewer, did a "ya doubt" on me on having a 10 year old projector with a 90% bt2020...

ya man I like all the cynic, death, atheist, prog/tech, bout the only time I can stray from death/black vocals, like Psychotic Waltz. Some other bands with similar sound, Sadist, Hieronymus Bosch, Neglected Fields, Blotted Science, Dark Millenium, Maryr, Arte Sacra, Deathbringer, Desecrated...

    Audio-gd A-2 Class A Headphone Amp & Pre

That makes it sound like they actually listened to something on ASR? that can't be right... i thought the general consensus was no difference in sound quality between your phone, your pc motherboard, and... or well, anything. so best to just measure it to justify at least paying for the upsale...

Out Of Your Head - new virtual surround simulator

Its free to try all of the presets have a 2min timer and you just change to another preset, theres a base preset without the measured room that has a 1 week trial as well Theyre measured rooms so theres no added effects You're still going to have to reduce 1-5khz on the pm3. I like just using...

Out Of Your Head - new virtual surround simulator

Additionally i find headphones that follow the harman target to be much to bright, something about a double hrtf with the measured impulse responses so i like the uncompensated frequency response to be much closer to flat

Out Of Your Head - new virtual surround simulator

    1. yes all aufio can go through ooyh 2. nope no hesuvi 3. the softwares very straight forward and you can demo it for free. the one advise id give is to use equalizer apo to flatten out your headphones frewuency response over 2khz

    Stax headphones

Yes, but its not that theyre sensitive to dust, due to the electrostatic nature they attract more dust. So yes cover them with a stax bag when not in use.

Topaz Low-Capacitance Isolation Transformers - for Affordably Clean Power

@rsbrsvp sorry for the excess of questions, also curious what power supply you're using for the mac mini and if you have a monitor connected to the mac mini and plugged into the isolation transformer as well.

Topaz Low-Capacitance Isolation Transformers - for Affordably Clean Power

Just to add, the main benefit of the Regen being to reduce error correction performed by the usb receiver, and the phy noise generated by that error correction. With that mac mini to the di20, what usb cable? and what's the cable length?

Topaz Low-Capacitance Isolation Transformers - for Affordably Clean Power

Gotcha, thank you very much for clarifying, that's very interesting. Speaks volumes to the DI-20HE and is why I'm curious as that component is on my shortlist for upgrades, actually your system is my shortlist for upgrades ;] I would imagine the mutec offsets benefits of the regen as well...
