Using a step-up trnasformer to connect the unit in HK with the US adaptor, works ok

Reaching out to all Kenwood owners out there. I need soem advice on how you guys keep your music given the not so smart and not so user-friendly Kenwood software. I have never come across anything like this and have only used iTunes and SonicStage. It is probably going to be a painful process...

Thanks for all your replies. With no external battery box on hand, I think I will have to stick to the AC adaptor. May not be a bad thing since these models don't seem to have anti-shock of any kind.

Just scored a Sony D311. The rechargeable batteries are long dead and it had to rely on power from the adaptor. Does anyone here know where i can locate new replacement batteries for this machine. Many thanks.
